Asphalt Patching
Asphalt patching is the filling in of potholes. It is generally a five-step process:
- Remove debris and damaged parts of the pavement.
- Make sure the pothole is cleared out and clean
- Repair the damaged base/foundation
- Fill the pothole with hot or cold asphalt.
- Tamp down asphalt so that the hole is fully covered by the asphalt

For this treatment to be successful, the subbase below should be in good working condition. Asphalt milling tends to be reasonably cheap because only the top player of asphalt needs repairing.

Why Asphalt?
Since its beginning in the 1800s, asphalt has steadily grown to be the favorite material to lay roads with. Not only is it the best material to use, but it is also one of the most environmentally conscious materials on the market. Asphalt can be continually recycled and reused.
